Description:

I repurposed and reinvented an existing brand activation that had previously been used to try and recruit college students to apply for jobs at Optiver. The lack of its success didn't lie in the idea but rather where it lay in the marketing funnel, it was being expected to do too much lifting which is why I changed its objective to that of a brand awareness piece. The previous game's theme was set in a traditional classroom environment, this didn't fit the "big bang theory" crowd we were looking to engage with or position the brand as a leader in the technology space. So I gave it a new name, oversaw the entire creative development of a new sci-fi-inspired theme, and wrote new copy for the website.
